Leaders are not formed by lectures alone
Most of Jesus’ deepest work happened in conversation: at a well, under a tree, at a table, on a road. The Conversation Group exists to recover that way of leading.
We combine decades of diverse ministry experience with the art of personal connection, rooted in Jesus Christ. Every conversation is designed to connect, coach and equip leaders to lead courageously and to their fullest potential.
Our approach follows two biblical models. Jesus took just twelve into His inner circle and mentored them through deep conversation for a life of service. Barnabas, the “son of encouragement”, delighted in mentoring Paul and helping early Christians stay true to the Lord in word and deed.

On 21 February 2024, preachers and province leaders gathered for a Godly Leaders Workshop, hosted by the Chintalapalem Church of Christ. The guest of honour, Bro. Scott Dean Lambert of Texas, USA, co-founder of The Conversation Group, came to plant The Conversation Group in India. The workshop was convened by Dr. P. Anil Kumar, India coordinator of World Bible School.
The Conversation Group was founded by Scott and Kim Lambert, who saw from years of ministry that many leaders have no access to coaching or mentoring. Its mentoring relationships now span more than forty countries. In India, it is carried forward through Godly Kingdom Culture, building a community of preachers who connect, collaborate, encourage one another and grow together.

1-on-1 conversations
A series of one-hour mentoring conversations with a Conversation Partner, by phone, video call or in person, for assessment, coaching, resources and prayer. For people in positions of leadership seeking support and strategy.
Conversation cohorts
Small groups of leaders in the same sphere of ministry or season of life, meeting over several months with a seasoned guide for shared learning and growth.
Workshops & events
Godly Leaders Workshops for preachers and province leaders, and teaching for churches on mentoring, leadership, spiritual gifts, marriage and more.
The 11 Kilometre Journey
Two friends once walked eleven kilometres from Jerusalem to Emmaus, and a conversation with the risen Jesus set their hearts on fire. The Journey slows that walk down into eleven “kilometres”, so leaders can learn to walk it too.
